What some of the judges have had to say about Sera...

LEHIGH VALLEY KENNEL CLUB

HERDING GROUP I

judge Stephanie Hedgepath

September 13, 2008

From Ms Hedgepath " I fell in love with this bitch when I saw her- she has it all... she has breed type, she is feminine, she can move, and she acts like a corgi..."

HERDING GROUP IV

POCONO MOUNTAIN KENNEL CLUB

judge Houston Clark

September 12, 2008

From Mr. Clark "I like Cardigans to look like Cardigans- she has correct type, correct movement and she has balance.  I don't like those big heavy dogs, and I don't want Cardigans that look like Pembrokes.  She caught my eye and held it...

GARDEN STATE CARDIGAN WELSH CORGI ASSOCIATION

SOMERSET HILLS KENNEL CLUB

judge Andrew Carter

September 6, 2008

From Mr. Carter " If she would ask for it, she would be a world beater"... "Just loved her outline and movement...Sera is a dream come true- a female George"

BEST OF BREED/HERDING GROUP IV

DVCWCA / BRYN MAWR KENNEL CLUB

judge Dr Gary Sparschu

From Dr. Sparschu  " She has it all- a complete package... She has the correct silhouette, front, efficient groundcovering movement, level topline and beautiful tailset.  She is what more breeders need to strive for- Cardigans don't need to be heavy and clumsy; they can be pretty and sound and correct"

You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby...

Canine Learning Experience; January 2006; 3 Months old

The Canine Learning Experiencs is one of the largest A matches on the East Coast, and the "Moon" litter was just a few days over 3 months old when we attended.  Sera shocked us ALL by winning BOB over her littermates and a few older Cardigan puppies- and then on to a Herding Group I in some very serious competition- under a Herding Breed Enthusiast!

Little did I know that this was just a glimmer of things to come!

Breeders Dreams

Ch. Xtacee Dancin In The Moonlight; Ch Xtacee Moonlight Serenade; Ch Xtacee Neon Moon

The Moon Litter was a breeders dream- 4 puppies went into show homes-- 3 of them are multiple Group placers- 2 are Herding Group Winners and Sera is a Regional Specialty Winner.

Through the accomplishments of the Moon Litter, their mother, Vi, earned the 2006 CWCCA Ch Vestavia's Avant-Garde Memorial Trophy

2006 CWCCA National Specialty

Sera was the first dog I felt truly comfortable enough to enter in Bred By at the National Specialty.  I had no hopes of winning, or even placing, in this very competative and prestigious class; after all, Sera was barely 7 months old, and the youngest dog in her class that day!

I was absolutely thrilled to make the first cut- and floated on air as breeder/judge Janet Robinson pointed to Sera for Second place- right behind another Nicky daughter!

Somerset Hills Kennel Club- CWCCA Supported Entry

Another Supported Entry- Another Major Win-

Winners Bitch for a 4 pt major under Patricia Laurans at the Garden State Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club supported entry, held in conjunction with Somerset Hills Kennel Club.
